The highest paid actor in Bollywood – Akshay Kumar is going to promote martial arts in India. Akki made entry into bollywood as an action hero, for which he took special training in martial arts.

As per the sources, Akshay Kumar is going to sponsor a martial arts tournament “Akshay Kumar Invitational”. It will be first of its kind tournament in India.

The man behind all this is – Shihan Mehul Vora, himself teaching karate since 27 years. He had this idea in mind for quite a long time but was not getting any sponsor. But as Akki gave him confirmation for sponsorship, there will be no more hurdles to organize this martial arts tournament with 2000 fighters with international level coaches, referees and judges.

Akki said,

I owe everything to martial arts. My passion for the art goes back early teens when I went to Bangkok to master in it. My father was keen that I learn martial arts when I was nine. Even today, I practice for two hours. Martial arts are not about violence and fighting, but the power to change the life.
